In our factory in Meppel, we were looking for a new liftassist after a number of events. Our old liftassist began to show signs of limited capacity. This became even more apparent after an unfortunate safety incident, which led us to search for a new liftassist supplier.

 

The search for a suitable replacement led us to Dotec. The biggest challenge during the selection process was finding a liftassist that was not only ideal in terms of working height but also met our safety standards. Dotec stood out with their proactive approach. They shared detailed mechanical drawings, including the minimum and maximum heights and the total range of their liftassists. Thanks to this information, we were able to quickly get to the point during discussions. Dotec's advice on how to best integrate the system into our limited workspace was particularly valuable.

 

During our search for a new liftassist, we came across Dotec. At that time, they were already a trusted supplier for us. What convinced us to choose Dotec was the simplicity of using their handler, as we saw on their website. This was confirmed during a visit to their premises, where our production operators were able to test the system. Their positive feedback, along with the possibility of some adjustments, such as a rotating core, led to the order of the liftassist RH150.

 

The benefits of the Dotec liftassist in our company are significant. It helps in moving foil rolls from our conveyor belts to production pallets, ensuring a more efficient distribution of materials for our production batches. This allows us to send half-full foil pallets back to our warehouse, freeing up more space in our production area.

 

The training for operating the liftassist was surprisingly short. Our operators were able to master it within about half an hour to an hour, although we noticed that real proficiency came with time, as they used the system more frequently.

 

In the future, if we ever need a new liftassist again, we would definitely consider Dotec again.
