Introducing LiftAssists: innovative handling solutions for every industry

If you're not familiar yet with LiftAssists, it’s time we introduce ourselves and tell you about the many sectors in which we are active. Whether you are looking for a roll handler in the packaging industry or a handler for kegs in the cosmetics industry and everything in between, we are happy to tell you about the solutions we offer that meet your needs.

The world of rolls

Our core area is the world of rolls. From flexible packaging rolls, labels, narrow rolls to nonwoven rolls, we offer equipment that meets the standards of ergonomics, work environment, safety, and efficiency. Each sector has different needs, specifications, and processes. Read more and discover how we respond to these.

Flexible packaging

Flexible packaging

Flexible packaging rolls: An industry where rolls often need to be unloaded from a machine. The best handlers for this industry are designed to remove rolls from an unloading tree in no time. Our roll handling equipment makes this process faster, safer, and more efficient for you and your operator. Specifically for this process, we offer a balance mode feature. This feature ensures that the handler can stably unload without sinking down when the roll detaches from the shaft or unloading tree. This makes the unloading of rolls much safer and, as a bonus, more efficient.

Label & narrow web

Label & narrow web

Label & narrow web: An industry with a lot of batch production. Here, it is crucial to minimize downtime, so the transition between batches is as short as possible. A roll handler with an extended clamping mandrel can be the solution. With the extended mandrel, multiple narrow rolls can be lifted simultaneously, allowing a complete batch to be moved to a pallet or machine in a short time. This saves time and increases output, ensuring that production for the next batch can resume immediately.

Hygiene & nonwoven

Hygiene & nonwoven

Hygiene & nonwoven: An industry where large and often thin rolls are handled, such as end products for baby, female, and adult care products. We know well how to handle these diverse types of rolls, such as narrow rolls on high shafts, rolls with large diameters, and rolls that need to be integrated into challenging small spaces. Here too, the skill of lifting and tilting single or multiple "pancake rolls" comes in handy. This specific skill is crucial in the Hygiene and Nonwoven industry.

Yarn & textile

Yarn & textile

Yarn & textile: An industry where speed is very important, with high productivity to unload or move spools of yarn or fabrics as quickly as possible. A suitable handler in this sector needs to be designed to function lightly and efficiently, with attention to the relatively low weights between 10-40 kg and high frequency of operations in high and long positions. We adjust the dimensions of the handling equipment to the roll size so the operator never has to handle a too large, cumbersome handler.

Solutions for other sectors
Kegs

Kegs

We make handlers for kegs, designed with a hook that grabs the rim of a keg. This creates a firm and safe grip on the keg, allowing it to be lifted and tilted. This is a safer alternative to a vacuum gripper. A vacuum gripper can lose its grip if it is not properly attached to the keg, due to pressure loss or with a moist surface. With a hook, these problems cannot occur, so your operator doesn't have to worry about losing the keg while lifting or rotating. This allows your operator to work better and safer. We also offer handlers that clamp the outside of the keg so it is possible to rotate 180 degrees, which is very useful in the emptying and cleaning process.

Crates

Crates

Different types of crates are used in various industries, and we have different types of handlers for this. Loading and unloading beer crates onto carts is a heavy task, for which a special beer crate handler is available. This can lift six crates of beer simultaneously, allowing a roll container to be stacked in four operations. This relieves your operator and increases output. We also offer solutions for different types of stacking crates, which can move a large number of crates simultaneously. Due to the diversity of crates, the lifting frame is made customer-specific to ensure a good fit with the work process, allowing crates to be lifted safely and efficiently.

Glass

Glass

Glass is often too large and heavy to lift manually. A strong vacuum system that can securely grip glass sheets is essential. Manually, multiple people are always needed to move large panels. With a glass manipulator, this can be done by a single operator instead of two, making the work process much more efficient. Within the glass sector, there is increasing demand for printed glass. Normal suction cups can damage these prints as the cups expand when vacuum is applied. With a specially developed system, you can ensure this does not happen, and the printed glass is not damaged.

Boxes

Boxes

Boxes are a challenging product to handle due to their size, weight, and the frequency with which they are often handled. We offer lifters for boxes of different sizes and functions. A lifter can be well used for processes such as lifting, tilting, pick & place, placing products in and out of a box, and lifting multiple boxes simultaneously. Due to the wide variation in size, weight, and process for boxes, it is important to consider the situation per customer specifically to deliver the best possible solution. One thing is certain, a lifter improves the work process in any industry where boxes need to be handled.

Barrels

Barrels

Barrels are often used in the food, oil & gas, and chemical industries. Handling these barrels is a challenging task due to their weight and size. The handling equipment for barrels are specially designed to make working with barrels much easier. The handlers are equipped with clamps that have a safe and firm grip on the barrels, making them safe to handle. The handler offers the possibility to lift, tilt, and rotate. This allows barrels to be placed/moved and poured out accurately.

Bags

Bags

Bags are a common product and can be handled in various ways, such as with a vacuum or hooks. Vacuum handlers are designed to lift plastic or paper bags. On these bags, the system can create a safe vacuum seal, making the bag easy to handle without damaging. For jute bags, hooks can be used to firmly grip the bag. Both systems increase productivity and create a safer working environment.
