In our factory in Berlin, at Berry Fiberweb Berlin GmbH, our employees faced a challenge. They had to lift 25 kg bags of granules by hand every day. This caused serious strain on their musculoskeletal system. The company's leaders recognized that an ergonomic way of working was paramount to the well-being of the team.

 

During the selection process for a suitable lift assist, we encountered a major problem: lack of space in the factory. The EHS coordinator heard about Dotec from his colleagues who visited the ICE Munich. Dotec offers a lift assist that is not only user-friendly but also requires minimal installation effort. In addition, Dotec had a retractable rail system in a jib crane, which was perfectly tailored to our space problems.

 

After installing the Dotec handler, our employees immediately noticed the advantages. You could now fill the granulate bags into the collection containers quickly, easily and simply. The most amazing thing was that it only took 2 to 5 minutes for employees to become fully familiar with operating the device.
